Emperor lychee ( largest of the lychee)

Is the largest of the lychee fruits achieving golf ball size,
and it often produces aborted “chicken tongue” seeds. The tree is a slow compact grower that produces every three
out of four years, but it is not a mainstream commercial variety. Juvenile trees are somewhat difficult to grow,
but they do perform well in both Florida and California.
